Important Empower Retirement Plan Updates Coming October 21

OHFA is pleased to announce upcoming enhancements to our retirement plans through Empower, designed to provide employees with improved investment options, lower fees, and enhanced retirement planning support. Plan changes are effective October 21, 2026.

During the July 15, 2026, meeting of the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency Board of Trustees, the Board approved updates to the Agency's 401(a) and 403(b) retirement plans. These changes include updates to investment options, administrative provisions, participant communications, and fee structures. The enhancements are expected to significantly reduce overall plan expenses while continuing to provide competitive retirement benefits for employees.

Employees who would like more information about the upcoming changes or their retirement planning options are encouraged to schedule a meeting with Steve Conkin, OHFA's Empower Retirement Representative.
